Clear scope before approval

Three cleaning levels. No vague “whole-house” promise.

We match the work to the observed condition, system count, materials, and access. Your written proposal identifies exactly what is included before cleaning begins.

The final proposal may be adjusted to the property, but these definitions make the differences visible.

Our scope standard

Every system and component is named.

For larger homes and managed buildings, we identify the number of private HVAC systems, supply and return sides, additions, access limitations, roof requirements, and building rules. A service name alone never replaces a written scope.

Scope questions

Direct answers before you choose.

Why does Blue Steel not advertise one whole-house price?+

A house can have one system or several, accessible metal ductwork or delicate flexible and lined material, short routes or concealed additions, and very different buildup. We collect the system and access details first so the written proposal matches the work.

Are return vents included?+

They can be. The written proposal states which supply and return sides, openings, trunks, branches, and accessible components are included. We do not use the word ‘complete’ while quietly excluding the return side.

Is sanitizing automatically included?+

No. Physical source removal comes first. A compatible EPA-registered product is discussed only for an appropriate labeled surface and objective, with the application area and price approved separately.

What happens if you find additional work?+

We show you the finding, explain the option, and provide the price before proceeding. Nothing is added without your approval.

What does the 90-day workmanship promise cover?+

It covers a concern that an accessible area included in the written, paid cleaning scope was not completed as described. Contact us within 90 days so we can review the service record and determine the appropriate inspection or correction. New contamination, excluded areas, repairs, appliance faults, and unpromised outcomes are not covered.
