What antimicrobial service means—and when it matters.
What it is
Antimicrobial treatment is a targeted application of an EPA-registered product to a surface and use site specifically allowed by its label. It is considered only after inspection, source correction, physical cleaning, and drying. Sanitizing, disinfecting, deodorizing, and fungicidal claims are not interchangeable.
Why it matters
A chemical treatment can support a defined cleaning plan in limited circumstances, but it cannot remove dust, repair a leak, dry wet material, or make damaged porous material cleanable. Product choice, dilution, dwell time, application method, ventilation, personal protection, and re-entry must follow the label.
When to schedule
This is not an automatic add-on for every customer. Discuss it when a suitable product has a labeled use for the actual surface and objective, after the affected area is cleaned and the moisture or contamination source is controlled.

No. Treatment, cleaning, moisture correction, and professional mold remediation are different services. Significant or confirmed contamination may require a qualified mold professional.
Can you guarantee mold will not return?+
No responsible provider should make that guarantee. Moisture and the underlying source must be corrected to reduce recurrence.
